boneforable (part 1)

bolupandan's june for togetherness that's unforgetable
...or something. I forgot what "Boneforable" stands for.

Anyway, on June 23rd-25th, my class had a trip to Lembang. Or rather, a vacation. It was fun. I mean, fun. Since I thought this holiday I'll just be a hikki as I am....

I was resolved to write about this right away, but seems like my laziness got the better of me....

To be honest, I don't know whether to look forward to the trip since my close friend couldn't come. Some of you probably realized that I am awkward and unsocial, even though I am extremely extrovert. So with no one I could cling to, I was rather... ahem, that's not important. We're here for fun, aren't we?

We all had agreed to meet at around 8am and leave at 10am on 23rd. The meeting point was our school, since we had to take care of some school papers before we leave. I was rather late, arrived around 9.30 or so, and most of my classmates have arrived. Even so, there was this one guy who didn't show up even though it's already 10.30.... We thought of something like "let's leave without him" and "if we wait some more, we're gonna be trapped in traffic jam". So we leave without him, but one of the cars (there were about 5 cars) saw him in a public transportation and stopped. In the end, we leave with him. Lucky him.

The way to our destination was rather... scary. There were uphills and downhills, and one of the car (a sedan, I think) almost couldn't make it trough. It took about 1 hour 30 minutes to get us to the destination. And as soon as we arrived....

Apparently, my classmate didn't forgot to bring her monopod.
Being normal teens that we are, of course the first thing to do is to take selfies (laughs).

Say cheese!
We also tried for group levitation, but....
Then the boys played some futsal while the girls kept on taking selfies... and tried to check in at Path. Though most of them got no signal since we're up on a mountain. Ah, I think we had lunch then. I don't know what happened after that since I went in to the villa we rented and packed my bags on my room.

When I checked from the balcony (the girls' rooms are upstairs), my classmates already played hide-and-seek because why not.

"Get down and play!" is what this photo telling me.
But to be honest, I don't remember them saying that. Either way, of course I joined.

This can be a great shot if the plastic bag is out of the way. :c

I didn't took many interesting photos here....

Around 1.30pm, I heard that the boys played billiard, so me and some girls went to watch.

I was thinking that the billiards table was in some kind of closed room somewhere at the villa area, but I found out that I was wrong.

A great view we had there.
The billiards table was located in some kind of open hut. It felt so out of place--what's a billiards table doing in this kind of environment? (laughs) Not far from the hut, there was a fishing pond.

No... they don't actually fish. They just posed.
Since it was in an open hut, the wind easily passes through us. Even though I wore jacket, I still felt cold. Thankfully, watching the boys playing billiard was quite entertaining.

There's this guy who was quite good at it and I asked whether he liked billiard. He said that there was one on his junior high school, so he played it quite a lot.... It was boarding school. So fancy....

I tried to play too, but I just don't have the strength and accuracy to hit the ball. (laughs) There was a time when I got lucky though. Somehow I was able to score 2 points in one turn... That was a miracle.

After a while, I got bored.

And without me realizing, it's 4pm already.
Somehow I wonder why time flies when you're having fun....

When I went back to the villa, I found out that the girls were having fun at the poolside. I took some photos and my friend too, but I'm too lazy to edit and resize all of them for the blog, sorry. So here, have my favorite photo from this photo shoot.

So so so so cute! ❤
I forgot what happened on the rest of the day, but I remember me fell asleep even before 11pm.

The next day in the morning, I was greeted by this:

Mighty Thor
This guy's name is Thoriq, alright....

Anyway.

We had agreed to wake up early so we can take a walk to the fort up on the mountain. However, seems like some people prefer sleeping after all. So we waited for them to wake up.

These guys here really likes playing cards, it seems.

Then the girl holding blue iPhone showed them a video. When I was sleeping upstairs, looked like they made some kind of video... some kind of "who is the most annoying person in the class?" survey, I think? The guy with blue glasses complained that they were noisy. Ah, too bad that I went to bed early.

The guys played some futsal and somehow had their ball in the pool.... (laughs)

At 8am, everyone finally woke up. So we took our walk to the mountain.

And I tell you, the view was really, really amazing.

The forest atmosphere is something you can find on fantasy novels/movies.
At some point, we found out that one of our classmate was sick. So we decided to rest. And of course, something like taking selfies at every moment you can is something you can't miss.

Monopod is very important! Taking selfies is a serious business, you see.
The oh-so-candid pose.
I kind of freaked out when I found how much muscle the guy in the middle has.
The sick classmate couldn't walk some more, and some of the girls too. So we split up here. The I'll-just-wait-here group and let's-go-to-the-fort group. On any other occasion, I would have been in the former group. But after walking so much, I couldn't just give up and miss the fort, yes?

So we walked and we walked.... It was quite a long walk before we finally arrived at the fort. But what we thought of fort is actually just a bunker....

The gate to the bunker.
Why of course, we took commemorative picture.

These boys are so silly (laughs).
Then we got in.
And found this.
Roughly translates to:
This fort/bunker is a heritage which should be taken care of because it's a witness and evidence of Indonesians' struggle to achieve independence.
However, inside...

Seems like the bunker has been used as a camp site.
And as you can see from the photo, the walls are filled with scribbles. No one really takes care of the bunker, yeah?

The atmosphere of the bunker was rather eerie. And it was dark too. I admit I was scared, that's probably why I stayed at the entrance while the boys checking the bunker out.

Another commemorative picture.
Not far from the bunker, we found something weird. How should I say this, eh...

The ground was lower than others, as if it's a trap. But the height was not low enough to make it as a booby trap. One of the side have walls, but the other side doesn't. Then we realize that it might have been a trench warfare. To think that I'd see one someday.... This was really unexpected.

And out of my request, the boys agreed to take some pictures directed by me.

BANG! BANG!

And that was fun.

Before this post got any longer, I'll just end it here. Part 2 is here.
